An IDA-PBC Design with Integral Action for Output Voltage Regulation in an Interleaved Boost Converter for DC Microgrid Applications

This paper describes the output voltage regulation control for an interleaved connected to a direct current (DC) microgrid considering bidirectional flows. The proposed controller is based on interconnection and damping passivity-based (IDA-PBC) approach with integral action that regulates profile at its assigned reference. designs law via nonlinear feedback ensures asymptotic stability in closed-loop sense of Lyapunov. Moreover, IDA-PBC design adds gain eliminate possible tracking errors steady-state conditions. Numerical simulations Piecewise Linear Electrical Circuit Simulation (PLECS) package MATLAB/Simulink demonstrate effectiveness assessed compared conventional proportional-integral under different scenarios strong variations injected/absorbed by DC microgrid.
